Melbourn's Year 9 rugby team finished a creditable fifth in their Cambridge and District tournament held at Cambridge Rugby Club.
They beat Parkside, Sawston and Chesterton.
PE teacher Richard Barlow said: "Out of all the schools in Cambridge and District this was an amazing achievement. Well done boys."
