Supporting Your Child: Meetings for Parents

Melbourn Village College is holding two meetings for parents on Tuesday September 18th.
The first, for parents of year 7 studenbts, takes place from 6.30-7.15 and focuses on what parents and carers can do to support their child as they adapt to life at secondary school. There will also be information on what your child can do to prepare now for the demands of the new GCSE exams, the college's rewards and sanctions system, who to contact about your child and the opportunities available at Melbourn.
The meeting for parents of Year 10 students follows afterwards (7.30-8.15) and will look at the new GCSE exams, particularly in English, maths and science, as well as how parents and carers can support students and the key dates for the coming academic year.
