Local Advisory Board

Melbourn Village College’s Local Advisory Board (LAB) is committed to working with parents, students, staff, local employers, primary schools and higher and further educational institutions to provide exceptional education for all young people. Local Advisory Boards serve as vital local advisory bodies for schools within the Cam Academy Trust, offering valuable insight and feedback to help the trust understand how parents, staff, and the community perceive the school’s effectiveness in meeting local needs. The LAB acts in accordance with the agreed delegation operated by the Cam Academy Trust. Providing strategic support and challenge, working together with the Principal, focusing on community-facing aspects of the school, their key role is to ensure that Melbourn Village College is a successful and well-regarded school that delivers a high-quality education and supports the well-being of all students.
